Andrew is the Principal and Managing Director of Andrew Rowan Wealth Management. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) he holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
Andrew commenced his financial planning career back in 1992 when he opened, in partnership, Ballarat's Retireinvest. Andrew has been operating under his own licence since 2001 (in partnership) and more recently from 2005 under his current licence.
After all these years, Andrew continues to remain passionate about financial planning and particularly enjoys working with clients who really appreciate the value of ongoing and personalised financial planning services.
Andrew is fortunate to have a very diverse client base ranging from young families, to executives, and retirees. He is also passionate about providing financial advice to small business owners to ensure that they are rewarded for their hard work and efforts.
Andrew is married to Jennifer Kelly and between them they have four children and one young grandchild. Andrew and Jennifer often feel too young to be grandparents but would not change it for all the tea in china!
They now understand what all grandparents have been raving about!
Being committed to his community and local business, Andrew is very involved with the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast.
In addition, Andrew regularly attends the Committee for Ballarat's round table functions to hear first hand what is really happening in Ballarat and beyond. Andrew is also a member of Commerce Ballarat and truly believes in keeping our spending dollars in town by buying locally.
During his spare time Andrew likes nothing more than spending time with his family, pottering around in his vegetable garden, going to the gym, long distance bike riding and reading anything that's in reach.
Andrew also barracks for Collingwood, but don't hold that against him!
